Winter guard is an indoor color guard sport, often called the "Sport of the Arts," that combines dance, interpretive movement, and manipulation of equipment like flags, rifles, and sabers. Unlike outdoor marching band guard, winter guards perform to recorded music on a gym floor, often featuring thematic sets, uniforms, and props.
When does Winterguard start?
2026 Winterguard season is set to begin mid-November and run through April 2027.
